neurofeedback
Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback that uses electrical potentials in the brain to reinforce desired brain states through operant conditioning. This process is non-invasive and typically consists of 4 electrodes, a pair of specialized glasses, and a movie. The electrodes work in a similar fashion to an EEG, monitoring and mapping brain function through the skin on the skull.
